What
is a Berry Pepper?
The BerryPepper is a "frozen concoction" that combines the taste
of strawberry with Dr. Pepper soda to create a delicious summertime snack.
Originally created in 1968 by then swimming pool manager Biff Warren,
the BerryPepper has since been a favorite snack for visitors to the pool.
BerryPeppers are available at the pool throughout the summer, and at many
downtown businesses during the annual BerryPepper Days Celebration. |

Creighton's
Annual Celebration, BerryPepper Days, is held in June each summer, on Father's Day weekend. Visitors to the celebration take part in a road rally, legion baseball tournament, free swimming, ice cream social, a family day in the park rib-fest, grand parade, kiddie parade, car show and road rally, quilt show, fly-in breakfast, VFW breakfast and the Legion chicken feed. Saturday night join us for our annual street dance on Main Street. On Sunday you can start your day with a community worship service at the legion baseball field. Many new events are added each year. BerryPepper Days are hosted by the Creighton Area Chamber of Commerce.
